it's funny how on doing my research into johansson's career, there's plenty of material on the first fight with Patterson and then the trail begins to run cold.
Especially as far as Sweden is concerned. Your listed documentary and others are available, but not surprisingly perhaps very little exists on fights 2 or 3 other than the actual fights

How were the next two fights shown ?
closed-circuIt theater ?
I remember reading one of the books by Archie Moore, where he writes that Sugar Ray Robinson
was approached by the exuetive of "Skiatron" which was a new company.
the first home Pay-for-view" Television.
They had offered Ray Robinson a "Million dollars" to split 50/50, but Archie Moore wanted 250,000
and the rest in stock in the the company. Robinson refused to ask the executive about it so the fight fell through.
Archie Moore vrs Sugar Ray Robinson for the Light-Heavyweight Championship was to be the co-feature with the first Patterson vrs Johansson fight in June 1959.

the first fight was theatre/cinema by Teleprompter
Second fight the same but Teleprompter showed it to around 100,000 homes via cable.
Teleprompter also filmed third fight but unsure of distribution

Looks like the dufus prejudice bloodthirsty ref wanted Ingo to just wade in on the giant Sanders
and get annihilated in the process.
BTW did you see the look on the mug of the ref at 1;36 ? I've seen better heads on Boils.

thanks very much for finding this, the Bacilleri fight.
I don't know why I missed this on YouTube?
I'm having real problems with my research.
In February 1961 in Florida when johansson was training for the 3rd Patterson fight, Whitey Bimstein held secret sparring sessions, and they were filmed and reviewed each night..
The films are in the archives of the Gothenburg Sports Museum but I'm advised they will not put them onto DVD. I ask myself what's the purpose of keeping them

Edwin Ahlqvist, who you see in the film, Johanssons advisor, really his manager, was at ringside for the first Dempsey v Tunney fight, and telegraphed it back to Sweden, and it was the first report in their national press.
He'd arrived in New York a few years before after jumping ship

All three fights were shown on closed circuit and all three fights had theatrical films made as well.

I can see that 1 hour 30 minutes of the first Patterson fight as shown in US theatres is being offered on ebay with a starting bid of 25 dollars.
it's on 35mm format.

Thats not 1 hour and 30 minutes, its only the last 8 minutes of the fight. The complete theatrical film of the Patterson-Johansson 1 only ran 16min and 30sec. The other film on Ebay is only 1min and 30 seconds and its just an advertisement for the closed circuit.

Are there any "lost" fights of Ingemar Johansson ?
I was reading his 1959 autobiography just the other day,
and he writes that starting around the time for his fight with Franco Cavicchi (Sept. 1956)for the European HW Championship,
that he started filming them, so that he can study how he had fought.
here is Franco Cavicchi in action against another opponent
