That was the division that he shouldn't stayed in, after returning to the ring following the grueling months of rehabilitation training, post vehicle accident.
It was mainly because of the specific time-line, that led to Paz Over-Bulking himself into A Muscle-Bound Super Middleweight.
Paz obviously became obsessed After Awhile, with getting that "BIG MONEY" Roy Jones Jr Championship Bout, for the Super MW(168) title.
Rossi had a brief career resurgence in 1987, beating "Lupe Aquino" by decision, and then getting the Shocking brutal Ko over the Highly Regarded "Duane Thomas". Rossi only had 13 ko's out of 45 wins going into that bout, but the way he just up and exploded into killer devastation was just Out of this World.
That version of Rossi vs Pazienza would be a Super Thrilling Scrap.
I'd hate to see either guy lose tbh.
In a nuetral location, I'd have to go with Pazienza. He'd win a close decision I think.
Unless it was held in Italy. Then theyr'd be some home cooking for sure and Certain, even though Paz is strongly comprised of Italian ancestary. But yeah, in Italy, probably either a gift draw for Rossi, or a slightly unfair decision win for the pride of Italy, Gianfranco Rossi. Those fans sure Loved him. Rossi Rossi Rossi !!!
