Jermall Charlo vs Andrade?

Jermall said Andrade called him and they talked for about an hour. Claims he'd go right into the fight with no tune up.

Both need to salvage their careers and regain some respect. I personally doubt Charlo's sincerity. Both with PBC I believe.

its just all barking

Charlo's main mission is to sell his 0 to Canelo, then fight Munguia, Benavidez, Morrell, Plant and then maybe Andrade.

I agree with the first part, he has been trying to sell himself as a Canelo opponent. Canelo answered that a couple of years ago and said he needs to fight people, and he really hasn't done that.
I also doubt he will take too many risks. Shame he has been inactive and wasting his prime years, I think he is 32, so his best may well be slightly behind him.

I think Charlo would beat Andrade. I generally rank fighters who step into the ring against strong opponents over fighters who run their mouth and the tough fights never materialize. Their resumes aren't that different, but I think Bundrage, J-Rock, Trout, and Derevyachenko were all better than Andrade's second best opponent.

It's easy to talk and pretend you would beat everyone and dishonestly claim that everyone is avoiding you. Real fighters never have trouble finding a fight with a tough opponent. As dangerous and feared as Bivol, Beterbiev, Kovalev, and Golovkin were; they still managed to find several world class opponents who were willing to fight them. Why would Andrade be avoided when there were 8 world class boxers who had the balls to fight Erislandy Lara? Were they all afraid that Andrade would slap them to death? Because Andrade doesn't even have KO power at the world class level. If you can't seem to find anyone willing to fight you, it's because you're the one who's really doing the ducking, and you're lying to the fans about who is who.

Charlo, Benavidez and Munguia are for sure on Canelo's radar bc these fights would generate big numbers.

You're right about Andrade. I think he wanted to cash in big time and not risk his 0 getting small paydays against risky opponents. BJS is a good example of lucky-clever mofo that succeeded to stay safe and then cash in/out big time vs Canelo..

The example with Lara is also a good one of a fighter willing to fight the best in his division, even if he was a nightmare skill&stylistically wise. Of course that Lara had to make big concessions and accept whatever money they offered/lowballed him.

Imo Andrade should try to fight Benavidez. Charlo is kept on ice for Canelo or Munguia.

As for GGG, lets not forget that GGG had a very tough road and he had to fight the best ranked contenders from wbc and wba to get those belts , so that the big fights to happen for him and then when he was 34 y/o he fought younger Jacobs and then at 35 y/o he got much younger Canelo I .
