He clearly isn't well.

He sounds a lot better than he did in his previous interview. Not sure Conor deserves anywhere near so much leeway tho.

I've not seen this interview and I think I wil refrain from watching it having seen some of the quotes on twitter. The poor guy has been through an unimaginable bereavement and should be given time to grieve rather than be subjected to interviews.

I have t watched it but in what way has he lost the plot?

He sounds like he normally sounds to be honest, talking drivel half the time and stumbling over his words a lot.

he wont say Benn is guilty he knows a fight with Eubank Jr is still a big money fight.

His state of mind during this interview was a massive improvement on those he was doing a few months ago.

Haven't watched the interview but the warning signs with Sr have always been there, it's clearly worsened, a huge ego, delusion and grief playing their part, the mans lived a lie his whole adult life and doesn't know who he really is

He may have the experience and track record but he doesn't have the most important thing of all - the ability to make people want to listen to you. If you had a dad who had his life and experience but was only going to tell you things if you asked and showed an interest yourself, you'd be asking and showing an interest. If you have someone overbearing, who won't shut up about it and what you should and shouldn't be doing, you're not going to listen. I think I have a good idea of which one Sr. was.

Ive just watched it.
He's a funny wee guy.
Because he has become such a cartoon character, people often forget what a tough man he was.

Chris is out there no doubt about that , but guess what he always has been , can remember him 30 years ago never changed , but this is one of the best interviews i've seen with him , he was a worry and seemed to have lost the plot a few months ago , here he just speaks the truth on so many levels , think he's a bit neive regards Connor being innocent but what he says about the rest of the team is bang on the money ,, and whats more i could'nt agree more with what he says about current trainers . .

He is one of the few figures from boxing over the last 40 years with genuine crossover appeal. His interviews are generally highly anticipated and sought after - people find him intriguing.

Agreed ,, What he says is usually from the heart , and on the money , its how he says it, that has people scratching there heads , he's always for years questioned the honesty in boxing and he's not wrong . But then just has he's talking 100% sence , he goes off on one about himself , LOL but its that vanity and self belief that made him the fighter and the character we all remember ,

I suppose it's easy for people to take a few mins out of their day and listen to him.

The main point was that he has absolutely failed as a father to Jr. and ensured that his son would never listen to him. It's OK for us because we didn't have to deal with him 24/7 like Jr. did. And now doing that interview has probably cemented it.

I think Eubank's problem, is he tries to come across as some sort of intellectual philisopher, but he quite simply hasn't the master of the english language, or the ability to speak with brevity and clarity enough to convey the message - he has some fairly interesting ideas - but he generally garbles the message and stirs the meaning into a sort of word blancmange that leaves people wondering what on earth they just listened to.

I like Chris, but I think he would probably do better being himself, and dropping this ludicrious act he's been putting on his entire adult life, but I guess it's a bit late now.

I agree, I think he talks nonsense and is probably one of the thickest boxers out there, no disrespect, if he was half as clever as he thought he was then he wouldn't take an eternity to answer a question, he's forever staring into space looking for the next word halfway through a sentence, clever people let it roll off the tongue as do people who are being real, Eubank Sr is neither, I genuinely think he's mentally ill which is a real shame

Never noticed it before , but now you brought it up , striking resemblence

I found it a tough watch but not as bad as some of his interviews a few months back.

On several of his points he was factually incorrect and I didn’t like him speaking so negatively about his son. Can’t be nice for junior to be hearing his dad call him a charlatan.

Frank Smith (who’s engaged to Chris Eubank’s daughter) said that people shouldn’t be interviewing him at the moment.
