After a lot of hard work, Shalom has identified the correct home for this fight - Brighton.

No. It’s what I’ve read.

It's a ludicrous place to host a fight between them
The National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace would do just fine.

....but a great domestic match up
Hoping the promoter keeps it real and allows Azeez to defend all 3 of his titles (British, Commonwealth and European).

Buasti v Richards, 2 kids from SouthLondon fought in the nearby 02 and it was dead. Neither of Buatsi or Azeez can sell a ticket.
Brighton in the middle of summer could attract a large catchment area of people, who fancy spending the day down by the sea side before the fight.

Buatsi is the most disappointing prospect I can recall (there will be worse I just can’t think of em)… won an Olympic medal 7 years ago, turned pro 6 years ago, has a pro friendly style, just refuses to step up.

Neither boxer has any connection to Brighton or Sussex ! It's true they are not ticket sellers so the O2 arena would be over egging it, but Crystal Palace would be perfect and generates a surprisingly good atmosphere.
The place would be rocking when Azeez and Buatsi start ripping into each other.
Azeez has done everything right so far, whereas Buatsi just can't seem to achieve take-off.

I live in Brighton. This might work as a one off novelty event I guess, but this isn’t a boxing town.
We are all too liberal down here and focussed on making the world a better place!
