not one fight on the Hearn card i was excited for

Jonas opponent was absolutely shambolic for so called world level

It was awful. The standard is shocking imo

This is why old school fans are getting bored with boxing. I wager most old school fans who are around the age of 50 to 60 can't name 5 current British champions.

Very poor cards.

We knew Jonas was fighting a can. They are trying to get as much money out of marketing her as possible. Hearn wasn't up for doing that but this other crowd are.

I agree it was a bad night. Savannah looked poor and don't even get me started on Crews-Dezurn. Seriously.

The Dalton Smith card was poor with the exception of McCormack I thought. Jeffers taking Chelli to school on the other card was enjoyable for me. Ben Whitaker was appalling to watch and the stoppage was a shambles. It should never have been stopped there. Callum Simpson was also disappointing and I stopped watching that fight after a few rounds.

I barely watch boxing any more. Bar the big fights the product is dreadful. Putting on womens boxing is making it EVEN worse.

Disappointing Bunce podcast on it (its not Bunce this week, its another presenter) with zero criticism or even hard questioning about the event. PR piece really.

yeah, her and her girlfriend are awful to watch. I was at artingsall last fight was as bad as Okoile.

Skye Nicolson is awful as well to watch but gets away with it being good looking.

Let's be honest, women's boxing is absolutely shite. Most fans think this. So why do we get it shoved in our faces on major bills.
Bloody box ticking crap.

The problem is that the talent required for female fighters to get to a high level is much lower than what is required for male fighters. Then you couple that with a general lack of power and what you get is a distance fight where one girl usually wins every second against a cleaner who took up boxing part time a few years ago. I wouldn't mind if it was separated like other sports. For example I can decide to tune in to a womens football match if I want but what you get with boxing is the mixture of male and female fights on bills and quite frankly I've had enough of it. I wish the fighters well but I don't have it in me to sit through it.

The fight disciples talked about the shows on their show a couple days ago.

Nick Peet savaged the Boxxer show - particularly the 2 women’s fights.

Surprisingly he quite enjoyed the Matchroom show.

I'm embarrassed to say out of the above names I've only seen Wardley. I've heard of Josh Kelly but admittedly don't know the others. I feel quite embarrassed saying this as being an old school boxing fan I could have named boxers quite easily.
