jah with tougher than expected time vs martin, but still a clear wide win in a step up

mak easily bombs out a padded record giant

so who nex?

jah-zhan to be rearranged? efe? wallin or pulev? someone else?

how about an opponent trade: mak-martin and jah-takam, or are those opponents too used up

They both must fight anyone relevant, a top-15 fighter.

Half the people reading don't know who you're talking about.
I do but they don't.

The boxers he's talking about are Arslanbek Makhmudov [Mak] and Jared Anderson[Jah].
They are up and coming unbeaten Heavyweights with high KO numbers.

Jah vs dempsy mckean (its the closest thing to martin i could think off, i wanna see what he can do with a focused camp and knowing he needs some defence)....

Mak vs Efe

Winners fight.

nah. sure both of the fighters definitely would be confidently up for it! if not they would be in the wrong profession.

mak at 33 has little time to waste and to get the best fight possible is surely the route his management is trying, unfortunately almost nobody wants to fight him.

anderson is 10 years younger and while he himself surely thinks that he is ready for everybody, he still needs time.

if it could be made it would be a great fight. won't happen.

Anderson vs Wallin would be a good step his next fight.

Mak vs Kean would be my pick for him.

Stick either in with Chizza. Let's see if they can cut the mustard.

Given that Makhmudov is 34, I'd like him to start going balls to the wall in order to find his level. Next fight, fight someone in the 13-25 range like Pulev / Sanchez / Bakole / Hrgovic / Wallin. Fight after that, fight someone in the 6-13 range like Ortiz / Whyte / Franklin / Parker / Chisora. If he wins both of them, then he'd be pretty close to fighting a top 4 heavyweight by age 35.

Jared has all the time in the world and doesn't need to rush. He has fine abilities, but his performance against Martin wasn't all that impressive (and the wide scorecards didn't reflect the true closeness of the fight). Yet, he's already been tested thoroughly against that #40-70 level of opponents. I'd probably develop him a lot more gradually. Maybe Rice in his next fight, then Kean, then Lerena, then Sanchez / Bakole; at which point he'd be in the top 9 and about 25-6 years old.

mak-pulev sounds good. or someone like otter or efe. i think he should be fighting around that level at minimum next time ggiven his age.

ya maybe jah could use a johnny rice fight, though that might be a let down for a lot of people given john's journeyman record. what about takam?

or how about the cuban guy who ko'd viktor faust........lenier pero?

Mak is at an age where his fights have to give him a path, but also they gotta get him paid in their own sense…. 33/34 boxer that’s probably 20thish…. You gotta get paid every fight, cause you don’t have many left and there’s no garentee your getting a mando in your prime….

Kean next for Makhmudov is a good shout.

For Anderson - Pulev or Takam if they want to get a win on the board. Wallin or Ajagba if they want to test him. Maybe Ortiz is a good mix of both?

Interesting rankings. No idea how you've got Franklin and Chisora above Sanchez and Bakole, the latter two are probably top ten. Excluding Pulev I think Franklin and Chisora are the worst fighters on your lists, and Parker and Whyte are probably not too far ahead.

I still like Anderson Zhan.
I was looking forward to it, and would really like to see it. It's a relevant fight between two prospects. Winner steps up loser regroups.

mak Bak would be a decent match up, which already disqualifies it from happenin.

jah zhan, they should make next. if really just the visa was the issue* jah should go to germany, fair judging is guaranteed.

I'm joking.

Come on guys, stop with the Makhmudov vs Kean fight,no interest at all for Big Mak(and no step up either),Kean would'nt last a round.Against zhang would be Fireworks.
Martin is no match.Makhmudov need a Big Step up Now.He has to stay away from Sanchez.....(that guy is too much trouble).Whyte, Ruiz,Dubois,Joyce.Bring him those guys.

mak would ko kean within a minute, would be a total massacre. maybe if mak is coming off a loss or something and needs a brutal ko to get some momentum back......

that said, kean-guido is happening on a top rank card, wouldnt surprise me if the winner fights jah or mak. i wouldnt be surprised at all if guido kos kean, keany has power but also got glass

3-4 more fights at least.
He said he wanted to retire at 27 and loved Ohio and wanted to leave it in the same breath.
