I see a couple of knockdowns by both sides. This is a fight just like Patterson vs Johansson III.

Who got more heart, will and determination?

I guess Floyd Patterson.

I'd pick Floyd, decisively, except for the vast size differential. Morrison had what, 30 lbs on Patterson? Tommy's weight advantage was solid too: good for brute mauling strength and one-punch KO power.

So I'm not so sure who wins.

But the more I think about it - especially Floyd's 1972 efforts against Bonavena and Ali - I'll bet he somehow eclipses Morrison, even in spite of the size disparity. Tommy could be hit and he had a durability problem. Patterson was quick-fisted and his left-hook had grenade-like explosive force. Patterson moved fairly well too. So I could picture Floyd keeping Tommy off of him.

Conclusion: I wouldn't bet much on this fight given the unpredictability, but if I had to pick either, it's Patterson.

This is a real head scratcher, because Floyd is clearly the more accomplished fighter and more talented.

But both men got stopped on more than one occasion so it's very hard to see this going the distance.

Just looking at the size and power of the guys that knocked them out it is difficult to see Patterson taking Tommy out and it is going to be a big difference in size and weight and Tommy could really bang.
