On page 50 of the July 1966 issue of The Ring, correspondent Jim Johnston reports that Sonny boxed two different opponents in a pair of exhibition matches in Anchorage, Alaska. Anyone know who they were?? Thanks!

They were against Brady Jackson, Fred Waldron and George Gaston... :TU: 2 rounds each on the same date (2nd April 1966)

I think there may be more about that in the "The Sparring Partners of Sonny Liston" thread from a few years back.
(btw Joe Louis once went to Alaska for some exhibitions in the early 1940's )

So did he just spar these guys or did he KO 'em or what? I'd think with multiple opponents, and the reputation he had he probably leveled at least one of these guys.

I don't think one is suppose to KO anyone during an exhibition
( although Joe Louis use to do it occasionaly of course)
