15 Rounds Middleweight Bout

Either Giardello outbox Basilio behind his long jabs and counterpunches to take a decision or vice versa for Basilio except he cuts off the ring and working on the body and head. What do you guys think and who do you got?

I thought Sugar Ray Robinson got robbed against Basilio but Carmen did fight a great fight that night. This is a tough, tough match but I'm going with the bigger, more skilled man-Giardello on points but it's a close fight.

Would have been a great fight. also lean towards Giardello, but it could have gone either way.

Like all the great rivalries of the era if they fought a few times I could see them splitting wins. If they fought only once. I think Giardello is gonna edge Basilio more often than not.

I can't imagine it would ever be easy.
