Hearns by stoppage.

Saw Hearns at Crawford-Spence and sadly, he did not look very switched on.

Of course Tommy wins big. The only question is, by wide UD or by stoppage?

I'll venture an educated guess and say Hard Rock Green goes the distance. Tommy by lopsided decision.

There's a little bit of suspense here, in that there's maybe a 15% chance that Hard Rock clocks Hearns with a lucky KO punch. But it probably won't happen because Green was a little too musclebound, IMO, to score power shots against Hearns, the rangier, more supple fighter.

The Hitman would outbox Green behind his long range left jabs and right hands to either take a decision or stopping him late.

This bout was signed for July, 1983 but Green pulled out injured. Hearns bombs out Green mid rounds.
