How Many Of The Current BoxRec Top 10 Would Beat AJ?

Assuming he beats Helenius handily. Both him and the other guy in the top ten would have a full camp. Obviously he wouldn't fight himself.

Thats a'pretty poor 10. Dubois but not Joyce, no Zhang either. Chisora got beaten up vs Parker and Fury but is still in the 10?

I think AJ's performance in the rematch gets overlooked. It was boring as sh1t, but he barely lost a round.

true, and should be given some chance since he does have a win over him. but him being 'in shape' wasnt the difference. he lost because joshua boxed a very negative, cautious backfoot fight to exploit andy's stubbiness, rather than rushing into ruiz's best range for the kill

Agree with this, although I think Ruiz has a decent shot if he’s half fit. I can also see Joshua beating Wilder, but it’s a shoot out and that suits Wilder better

If I were training Wilder I'd advise him to beat Joshua on points if it settles into prolonged inaction, recalling his Fury 3 opener, allowing AJ's apprehension of his power to overcompensate for his shortfall in skill.
Conversely, Joshua's best bet might be to catch Wilder cold with unexpected aggression. I really do think there's a fair chance of it going the distance though. Tensest fight on paper.

like the fit and focused ruiz who boxed arreola and looked like crap? andy is too stubby to land on a negative back foot aj , that's why he lost. not because he was fat. he's always very fat.
it's weird. people admit aj has become way more cautious, then seem to get amnesia and not apply this to how he approached ruiz 1 and ruiz 2. the first he rushed into ruiz's best range looking for a kill, the second he boxed cautiously outside. that was the biggest difference, not a fat guy being fat.
it would be awesome to get even odds on joshua-ruiz 3, boxing like he did yesterday josh would pretty much shut out the trex again. if andy were to beat josh again, it would have nothing to do with his fitness and everything to do with how joshua approached the fight

Not sure i subscribe to the theory that wilder ko.s Aj either ,, if he lands that right hand certainly but Aj has learnt to keep his hands up and is moving better , Wilder lets not forget is aterrible boxer and gets outboxed by guys with no power and less boxing skill n than Aj but we all do know AJ CAN punch a bit , both will have to commit to an attack to land the big one both will be vunerable but i think Aj will have a better more disciplined defence than Wilder really instead of picking apart the opponents of AJ and Fury , have a look at who Wilder has fought its woeful 1 good boxer on his reume and we know them results

If Joshua fights Wilder in the same pitter pat manner he fought Helenius, Wilder will crash a big right hand through his soft handed defence and the referee might as well not bother counting.
Joshua is in a transitional period style-wise and needs to be fed at least one more easy opponent before he tackles anyone dangerous.
Even one of Joshua's biggest nut huggers, Tony Bellew, admits Joshua is not ready for Wilder and he and David Haye both agree on Wallin as the opponent he should fight next.
