Real good match up. Tszyu actually walks the walk and talks the talk. There are many others who don't really tick both boxes.

The WBO have already announced Jermell Charlo is being stripped of his WBO title on September 30th and interim champion Tszyu will on that date be instated as the champion.
Tszyu will enter the ring against Mendoza as the defending WBO champion.

Oh good stuff, WBC should do the same. They can still unify for undisputed at least they would stay fairly bunched.

Charlo hasn’t been stripped yet.
They will allow him to do his ring walk and he announced as the undisputed champion. Then strip him at first bell.
If they strip him now, then it’s not Undisputed vs. Undisputed.
But that fights before this, so yeh, Tim will be full champion.

Less than 2 weeks out now and keen for this one. We'll hit the pub for it rather than pay for it though.

mendoza is tough, he will surely give it a go , but tim should be too powerful
assuming timmeh wins , id like charlo next. been if charlo aint coming back, maybe erickson lubin, ramos, or madrimov. what's castano up to lately?

Fact that Tszyu lit it up in his last fight could draw some attention.

All comers. He doesn't play favourites.

He was way behind vs Fundora until he caught the thin man. Tsyzu should win pretty convincingly here.

I agree. People just see a highlight and don't see the background. Tszyu will take a 2-3 rounds to wear Mendoza down, then punish him hard when he throws them lead, flailing left hooks.

However it happened the win over fundora is nice, lanky man was on a great run and has climbed to near the top of the division. mendoza was losing but was giving him a fight and showed good resilience and some pop to come through and end it. mendoza also kod former unified champ rosario right before that, so more than a one hit wonder.
would love to see tim face someone a bit less limited next though. if not charlo, how about castano or madrimov, lubin or ramos, or maybe do the long overdue and take kurbanov's 0.

Mendoza will be no pushover and the odds being offered for a Mendoza win make it almost worth an interest bet, but I'm sticking with my choice of a Tszyu win.

Castaño would be a fun fight. I thought he would have beaten Tsyzu a year or two ago but after having two tough fights with Chárlo and long layoff, Tszyu would have to be the betting favorite now

Seems like this is a great fight. Mendoza seems competent in all areas. If Timmy can make it look easy that would be very impressive.

That was the quickest weigh in I have ever seen in my life.
Tszyu was off the scales in six seconds.

One of the main reasons I welcome PBC's demise is apart from the fact they put almost everything on ppv and the fact that they've ruined most of their stable with inactivity, Money Mayweather was more active than Jaron Ennis ffs but the main reason I dislike them is their total lack of interest in securing a UK TV deal, good riddance I say
