Question: How are the rankings affected after Usyk’s stoppage win over Dubois, Anderson’s stoppage win over Rudenko and does Ajagba enter the top 15 after his DQ win over Kossobutskiy?

My votes:

Usyk remains
Anderson up to #13
Efe stays out.

Dubois stays out.

Usyk up to #1 - based on previous record going into the fight compared to Fury.

Efe up to #13 - Could arguably have gone higher if the fight wasn't a farce.

Anderson OUT - Would come back in below Makhmudov when Ortiz gets voted out for inactivity.

Dubois, Kossobutskiy, Rudenko, remain out.

My current rankings:
1. Usyk
2. Fury
3. Joshua
4. Ruiz
5. Hrgovic
6. Zhang
7. Whyte - TBC
8. Joyce
9. Sanchez
10. Parker
11. Wilder
12. Ajagba
13. Makhmudov
14. Chisora
15. Bakole
*16. Anderson

Ruiz and Ortiz going out due to inactivity in a week's time.

Also, with Whyte also possibly going out. Who on earth will take our 15th spot? Seems like all the relevant guys will be in the top 14 or inactive and we will just have to pick someone reluctantly. Chisora? Takam? Gassiev? Dubois? Miller? Huni? Kabayel? Pero? Wallin? Franklin? Wardley?

Anderson to 12. He did what we were all concerned about and tightened up that defense. Keeping his hands up while stepping back and not taking unnecessary shots, regardless of the opponent. He also seemed to have better patience and wasn't depending on power head shots, breaking his opponent down.

Usyk to #1
Zhan to never never land
Rudenko to the retirement home
Dubois further out of the top 15.

Now Efe is a struggle. He looked much better than recent fights, but it was difficult to really review his performance. Weirdest fight I remember seeing in quite some time. He was on his way to stopping Zhan I thought, but the DQ stopped us from seeing it through.

I will be voting on Whyte soon, same with Ruiz and Ortiz.

Most likely next week.

Usyk up to #1.

Whyte should be removed.

Ajagba should replace Whyte, everyone below Whyte move up one spot.

Major adjustment which bodes well for his future.

Agree on Usyk to #1.
Fighting a boxer is already worth more then what Fury does.

I don't think anything else should change.
With Anderson, we still kinda have to assume how good he really is.

Usyk #1
In part due to Fury's inactivity.
Dubois #remains out
Dubois lost nearly every round, and quit off a jab. He even tried the old school trick of targetted low blows (the idea being you put enough damage on your opponent that taking an eventual point deduction is a tactical trade) which is what makes this "controversy" even more laughable.

Anderson #no change
He got in the top 15 after a competitive win over Martin. This stay busy opponent changes nothing for me.

Ajagba #remains out.
Zhan #remains out.
I just watched the Ajagba v Zhan fight and the referee was to blame for that farse. A clear case of the referee letting the home fighter get away with way too many low shots early on - Efe landed maybe 4 or 5 low jabs (some directly on the nut sack  ) before Zhan retaliated. I think Zhan made up his mind that he would just take the DQ once he had points deducted, got jabbed in the balls yet again, and no point was taken off Ajagba.
Top 15 after that? Not for me.

You'd have to include the past 8 years to find a time where Fury had a better win on his record than Usyk had in the past 12 months.

Will close this off soon.

Quick question.

Once I done the adjustments..

Would you like me to just remove Whyte and move everyone up? Shall we wait til we hear more? Shall we just vote on him?

I would remove Whyte, Ruiz and Ortiz in just one sweep, but I'll be happy with just Whyte and Ortiz gone. Then we can vote 2 more to get in.
