There’s a Golden Boy show tonight on DAZN. Perhaps they push it in the US. Either way, I see next to nothing about their shows. Only just realised it was on.

I'll flip between the two. There's a cruiser fight and a heavy fight on the Dubai undercard. Show starts at 5pm so not late. Low level card but hoping it's good and like others said, it's a dry weekend.

decent first fight, 8 rounder, Sabbar won, slick boxer but was not a walkover. WBC Youth title. Really good commentary. Hope the heavy and cruiser fights are good.

second fight was embarrassing, first round stoppage, Cruiser, Syrian-German 25 and 0 Bekdash fighting an 8 - 4 Syrian. Syrian down 3 times, German fella hit him twice on the floor and should have been DQed. Ref waved it off as stoppage though.

another fight 1st round stoppage, another 2 fights landed when opponent was on the floor. Schultz lost by KO when should have won by DQ. Appalling refereeing again.

this fight with Al Nuami is an absolute barnstormer, opponent has not read the script, lobbed it out the window and very nearly stopped him in round 1. Great fight.

Samreen stops a game Gonzales in the 5th, impressive performance, looks like he has something about him Samreen, good power, variety, accuracy, his timing is spot on and he was catching Gonzales with hard accurate punches from the off, Gonzales tried to take the fight to him but he was outclassed, he did land the occasional shot to keep Samreen alert but he was took apart round after round, Samreen dropped Gonzales in the 4th, stunned him with a right then then followed it up with a chopping right to send him down, actually looked around the back of the head tbh but no matter Samreen put him away in the 5th , was putting on the pressure , caught Gonzales with a cracking left hook when the ref stopped it
