Press conference today.

I note that it is being sold as a battle to decide the badest man on the planet. But, if one of the participants (Ngannou) isn't allowed to use all his MMA skills, then the question of who is baddest man on the planet won't be answered.

Now the marketing is about to kick in, what are peoples thoughts?

Will you turn in but be annoyed if the fight will turn out to be a total mismatch?

Will you watch it and enjoy it as entertainment?

Will Ngannou be smart and try and throw Fury to the floor during clinches and hope to wind him that way?

About time someone picked up the Baddest Man on the Planet Belt. It's been lying dormant in Neverland ever since Michael passed.

Ngannou is not much of an entertainer outside of the ring except his flashy suits. Don't expect fireworks from the press conferences.

Ngannou would batter Fury in any form of combat which isn't boxing so this doesn't decide the baddest man on the planet. However, the fight will be a total mismatch. Fury will probably carry it a few rounds but Ngannou will barely land anything, will unlikely throw much and will be blowing before half way.

Won't watch unless I have absolutely nothing to do that evening. If I do, I won't be paying for it.

Ngannou will be happy for the payday and will be in sparring partner mode from the off, similar mindset to when he followed Derick Lewis round the octagon doing nothing. It'll be like Fury vs Kingpin Johnson, ie pretty boring and one-sided without any risk. I don't expect any fireworks and won't be bothering to watch.

Not the slightest chance i will pay for it.

I truly believe that if Fury fails to fight Usyk and AJ he will ruin his legacy

I won’t pay or watch it either. Same as the Chisora 3 show.

I won’t be watching this unless I hear something crazy happened and I’ll catch it on YouTube.
Bearing in mind that the MMA man has a deal with an MMA promotion after this I expect that Fury wins on points.
If that is what happens then obviously it was pre arranged and everyone should get a refund.

It's been a steady decline in his opposition level.

1. A fight offer to Manuel Charr
2. A third fight with Chisora
3. A fight against someone (at least 37) making his amateur and professional boxing debut
4.Talking a lot about Jon Jones.

He is operating at levels well below Uysk and AJ.

There was a recent clip of Ngannou on the pads - his hands were slow, but his feet appeared slower ... expect a very choreographed WWE style move about.

The Fury fan-bois will obviously love it; they will be pulling their boxer shorts up to their armpits whilst calling their parents/wifes sausages all week no doubt.

C`mon Dev ... 2 posts and two mentions of AJ ... at least mention Fury or Ngannou somewhere within it seeing thats the topic

I doubt Fury is even training for this. Look at the state of him.

what does it matter when Fury is messing around with a bunch of killers from Irish druglords to Arabian headchoppers, is it a real fight without swords? Guns?? The Ngannou story also gets less inspiring when he puts the UFC in their place just to prostitute for the Salafists

Tell Tyson you can't eyegouge in MMA too, lest he try a John Fury, even though it's "real fighting", most crippling moves your use in real life are banned
