Vitali Klitschko's planned WBC title defence against Hasim Rahman has been postponed after the Ukrainian injured his thigh, it has been reported.
The fight was due to take place on 30 April in New York but the Agence France Presse news agency says organisers are now looking to secure a date in June.
WBA champion John Ruiz could defend his title against James Toney on that Madison Square Garden bill instead.
The 36-year-old Toney is a former three-weight world champion.
Rahman and Ruiz, as well as IBF titlist Chris Byrd and WBO champion Lamon Brewster, are promoted by Don King.
King also controls Klitschko's defence rights and is keen on unification showdowns.
"I can make that happen," King said. "My goal is have world title unification matches this year and I'm fighting to get it done."
