On the Buatsi v Azeez card.
Winner makes it into the top 300 maybe?

Me too. Got good amateur experience, not a big puncher but has good fundamentals and always respectful. I like his father so always likely to be a fan.handsofstone wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 14:28 Bona fide Michael Hennessy fan right here, fun fighter to watch
That was the point I was trying to make to leejonesjr’s facetious question.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 15:57 These 2 fighting on Sky Sports shows the terrible state of British boxing
It was a perfectly clear and genuine question.jameswilson wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 16:44That was the point I was trying to make to leejonesjr’s facetious question.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 15:57 These 2 fighting on Sky Sports shows the terrible state of British boxing
Franklin Ignatius vs Hosea Stewart is a similar level fight that happened at heavyweight twice and neither time did it make it onto the tv despite being two novices putting it on the line very early in their career.
Now because these two have a promoter and ex boxer as their dad it’s being put on tv which is what I’m not big on despite it being (probably) evenly matched.
This is a fight between 2 kids, who seem like nice lads, but they are white collar level at best.jameswilson wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 16:44That was the point I was trying to make to leejonesjr’s facetious question.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 15:57 These 2 fighting on Sky Sports shows the terrible state of British boxing

Sky don’t just televise Premiership football….jameswilson wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 16:44That was the point I was trying to make to leejonesjr’s facetious question.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 15:57 These 2 fighting on Sky Sports shows the terrible state of British boxing

not white collar, Hennessy boxed a lot as an amateur, that is an uninformed comment.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 19:38This is a fight between 2 kids, who seem like nice lads, but they are white collar level at best.jameswilson wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 16:44That was the point I was trying to make to leejonesjr’s facetious question.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 15:57 These 2 fighting on Sky Sports shows the terrible state of British boxing

Fair enough mate. I do hope he beats Harley, Harley has spent the run up to the fight showing off how expensive his clothes are on IG. I'd put Harley 10-8 down for ffrst round just for that. Did you see Hennesseys sister is turning over too, only 18 and lots of am experience.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 13:27how far off you think?SeanBrennan wrote: ↑14 Sep 2023, 17:52not white collar, Hennessy boxed a lot as an amateur, that is an uninformed comment.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 19:38
This is a fight between 2 kids, who seem like nice lads, but they are white collar level at best.
his loss was against a 1-0 former white collar boxer with no amateur fights
he also drew with an afghan who seems to have no other documented boxing experience before or after
his last fight was the first time he beat someone with a winning record, and that was a 58-56 vs a 3-2 (now 3-3) teenager from estonia not even in the top 500. if he really does have the reported 100 amateur fights, he looks very underdeveloped for being that experienced
Hennessy beat hamza sheeraz twice and mark dickinson as an amatuer. Also lost on points to gabrial dossen. Not really the form of a white collar fighter.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 13:27how far off you think?SeanBrennan wrote: ↑14 Sep 2023, 17:52not white collar, Hennessy boxed a lot as an amateur, that is an uninformed comment.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑13 Sep 2023, 19:38

interesting, beats sheeraz twice, then in the pros cant beat a seemingly non boxer afghan and loses to a white collar fighter .jonp wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 16:26Hennessy beat hamza sheeraz twice and mark dickinson as an amatuer. very good point, He certainly has the attitude. I also think he's going to be malicious in this fight, Benn has genuinely annoyed him through his abusive comments about his father.
i think Bradly skeete is starting to bring a really good form out of michael, The proof will be how he gets on with Benn I think heel do a job on him to be fair.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 16:35very good point, He certainly has the attitude.
