15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Weaver who fought Tate, Coetzee and Tillis as the WBA Heavyweight Champion would overwhelm Wepner by jabbing, body punching and landing big left hooks and right hands to either take a decision or stopping him late on the eye cut. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Weaver wins hands down, probably by TKO. Chuck was brave and durable, but would have been an open target for Mike's brutal body attack, power punches, and bullwhip left-jab. Wepner's vulnerability to facial cuts put him at a disadvantage too.

Most likely it ends between the sixth and tenth rounds because Wepner's severely cut. I doubt that Hercules floors Wepner or puts him down for the count. Chuck could take a whale of punch.

Interestingly, these two were notoriously slow starters. It usually took them three to five rounds to loosen up and get their game untracked.
