Saw today that Kamil Sokolowski has been banned for 3 years after testing positive after/in the run up to the Frazer Clarke fight.

Seems almost a weekly occurrence at the moment that someone either from the UK or on a card promoted by one of our guys is testing positive so thought a thread was warranted.

That could be why certain fighters have not been seen for a while.

'Steven Volkov' seems like a balanced kind of chap.

Hughie? He's been inactive for nearly 2 years. He's had fights fall through in that time but never looked like he has been trying to put anything together.

You look on some of these guys instagrams and just immediately have suspicions.

Well if Hughie comes back after 4 years then something is sus

Tyson Fury couldn't fight in April.
He doesn't have a BBBofC licence.
He's fighting in Saudi in an unlicenced and unsanctioned contest.
He already failed two tests.

Surely Hughie would be banned for life? Him & Tyson already served bans for when they doped with nandrolone.

It’s a shame doping isn’t a criminal offence like it is in many European countries. If it was the police would’ve been straight into that Dr Uz’s office & started investigating Benn, Fury, Cordina, Parker & the rest using him.

Also, whilst I suspect Cash & Richards’ absences from the ring are suspicious if they were banned for doping surely the board would release the info to the public as if two stablemates of Benn are also proven dopers surely even Hearn can’t fight Benn’s corner anymore.

How can it even be possible that there's fighters who've served or serving bans and it isn't even public knowledge? Insane

if we really do have something against peds, and dont advocate for a free for all, we cant pick and choose which cases to ignore and which to cherrypick, like so many people do

The redacted names are those that have served their bans; it’s the same for all sports.

It’s still scary stuff though, with the volume of failures being seen (or hidden).

Did you know according to "combat sports expert" Joe Rogan it's not cheating if "everybody" is doing it

But you're right, it's hard to look at this sport , we wilfully had to blind ourselves to the scummy corruption and believe at least the right in the ring is as honest as it gets, but that was pie in the sky, it's a business, I don't think there's a top level fighter from the nineties who wasn't doing it

Actually saw an interview with Antoine Douglas, he doesn't remember much of the Avtandil Kurtsidze fight where there was blood on the outer layer of his skull other than he suspected Kurtsidze was on steroids, and NFL players were warning him he even looks like a juicehead , and afterwards we learned Khurtsidze was some kind of mob enforcer.

there were all kinds of rumours at the time about Khurtsidze being juiced

So we don't know for sure if Antoine Douglas was permanently injured by a PED user, but if I had to bet

I wouldn't want to say to Antoines face that he shouldn't complain so much because of he was juiced, everybody is doing it

Everything in drug testing is so fvcking dodgey. UKAD test about once every 728 years, and even when they do get someone it feels like they don’t have the teeth to keep ‘em. And as such they probably agree to let bans sneak in just go get a result rather than being dragged around the courts.

Only answer is publish every detail of every test as soon as it’s known. Let people defend it after but publish it strait up.

P.s
Soko should almost be allowed peds seeing as he is just there to loose but give a good test to prospects. Him being on beds is benificial to his opponents (except those that lose).

I completely agree with what Joe Galagher has said.

It disgusts me, that there are a number of posters on this forum who could name cheating boxers but the culprits are protected by privacy laws.

I am willing to bet many boxers have paid a lot of money to keep things behind closed doors.

Another thing that disgusts me is past boxers being self righteous ****s on the matter because they were never outed.

I've had shoulder surgery , keyhole no scars ,

I've had two spinal surgeries, laminectomy/discectomy, and shoulder surgery (rotator cuff) and no scars.

I’ll obviously take back what I’ve said about scarring. Needless to say the people who I’ve seen have shoulder and knee surgeries that were intrusive ended up with clear horizontal scars where the incision was made. Obviously not always the case tho.
