Wondering if we will see Gorman in the ring again. Still only 27 with 2 losses albeit decisive losses. Approaching a year out of the ring. What do people think? Is he still with Wasserman? Not hears much, and he's typically been one who balloons out of the ring. Liked him as a boxer and was hoping he would fight on.

Probably feels well found out.

It’s frustrating that him and Hughie seem to see themselves well above where they are and that seems to hinder their activity. Him and Hughie for me are most inactive heavyweights in the top 15 of the last few years.

One of my ams knows him, he is boxing in December apparently

Gorman is skilled, but has showed problems with his chin (kinda) and fitness.

Still think he can be in and around British level at times. But probably needs to get on a bit of a run a bit lower than that.

Gorman is a fun fighter. He's got some great skills but vulnerable. I watch him whenever he fights and hope he carries on.

he has some quick hands and decent boxing, but when pushed doesnt look like a guy who wants to be there. i think interesting fights for him are guys like carty, tshikeva, welch, potentially adelye if dave is as good as i think (eg not at wardley's level), and johnny fisher in another year or so

as limited as i think frazer clarke is i think it would be similar outcome to gorm's fights with wardley and dubstep

really? i was looking bad on some old threads and consensus seemed to be that he was way overweight and naturally undersized

I do wonder if Tyson Fury’s success has given license to other fighters to not be as diligent as they ought to be with their conditioning. Of course he was right to point out that boxing isn’t a bodybuilding contest and genetics have some influence in how ripped a fighter can look so to an extent appearance is irrelevant.

But just because that applies to Tyson doesn’t mean that every other flabby lardarse HW should be indulged when they come into fights in piss poor condition as Gorman seems to. He’s clearly a very talented boxer but no wonder he can’t make the grade if he’s taking shots from the likes of Dubois and Wardley who are naturally much bigger men.

Gorman vs Hughie would sell some tickets in the gypsy community.

Many heavies could tighten up a bring a lot of that power to cruiser

cant see him keeping the weight down enough to be able to move around quickly like a proper CW

Some fighters just don't have the mental requirement to get the best out of themselves. Frankie Gavin is the poster boy of this. He should have had a career at 135 pounds and he would have achieved a lot. Floyd Patterson said that you have to love boxing so much that you'll do anything. "That spark" he called it. Gorman just doesn't have that spark. He will make some money here and there but maybe it's just not for him and he's got other things going on. He's not 100% committed and never will be. That's my 2 cents

I think you might be right. Seems a very placid chap too, never gets into back and forths, and does not look the part, so is a harder sell too. I did like him give it a go against Wardley albeit unsuccessfully.

Gorman is likeable and very laid back. His shake suggests boxing is nit his number 1 priority. Probably just too relaxed for boxing. Just brought up in it so had to do it.
