Spoony didn't look to bad when I saw him sparring a couple of weeks back. Bosnich looks a lot bigger though

spoony has been looking far the more serious and has been sparring with matt skelton, however, i cant see a psycho goalie getting beat. Bosnich by rough, uncontroled points win.

Spoony does the football phone-in on radio 5 as well. Annoying, yes IMO, but hope he royally humps Bosnich. Spoony should have the greater speed, stamina and ability. Bosnich I see as some lumbering chump who'll throw 5 or six punches a round with fair power.

I think people are failing to factor in the Bosnich used to be a profesional athleat, isn't he the tosser who did the nazi salute to all the Spurs fans.

as previously said Mr Spoon should come in in full button Moon regalia, that will really fornicate with Bossies coke addled mind.
Spoon by 3 rd tko by rubbing his ajax crusted mop top repeatedly into bossie eye opening up a cut that temporarily blinds bosnich who falls out of the ring sadly crushing Mrs Spoon in the process with his lardy frame.
tghe whole spoon family go into mourning and ITV cancel their contract on any furtheoming series for as boxing choldrens stars is now deemed too un-PC.

Don't really like either of them, Bosnich mainly for reasons listed above and Spoony for having a stupid DJ name and for dumbing down the BBC Radio 5 football phone-in.

Whatever Bosnich's lifestyle is he has still been a professional athlete. I reckon he'll be too big for spoony. On BBC3 I think so will have about 2 viewers

Saw Bosnich at the ABA's on Friday, looked trim by his standards and confident. Spoke to his sparring partner who said he'd come along well.

Bosnich won on points.

Majority decision, tend to agree with Spoony he didn't throw enough, looked the better boxer, but Bosnich's weight and height advantage was the key!

that was spoonys best chance of winning and he blew it, any re-match will swing more and more towards bosnich as he gets fitter and fitter, as spoony said he should have threw more punches, had he done this im sure bosnich would have tired more and more.

I thought a draw was the right result. The judges didnt give spoony much credit for his jab

But where on earth did they get that presenter from?

Probably the same place they got the Bravo presenters for the Lynes fight

Wasn't it under ABA rules? No draws in amateur boxing.

It was sactioned by the ABA. Whats with the 90 second rounds? They're not long enough they need to be 3 x 2 minutes.

Despite all the pre fight talk these two were abysmal, Spoony looked good in training and in great shape but once he was under pressure he just kept pushing both gloves out at Bosnich's face - what was that?

In the end I was glad Bosnich won he deserved it, although his skills werent much kop he executed a good plan and definitely won. Spoony must have weighed 14 stone with weights in his pockets, or Bosnich weighed far more than the 14 stone 8 he 'weighed in' at. Bosnich looked a stone bigger at the least.
