Chuck Wepner vs Leon Spinks

Let's imagine each guy at this best. For Leon, that's the form he showed while beating Ali in 1978. For Chuck, it could be his gritty losing efforts to Ali (1975) and Liston (1970), and his controversial nod over Ernie Terrell (1974).
I say Leon wins a decision in a surprisingly close fight. Wepner was that much bigger and more durable than Spinks, whom he'd maul and bully all night long. Maybe Leon even gets tossed to the canvas a few times.
But, inevitably, Spinks's non-stop, two fisted attack would win the majority of rounds. Leon couldn't hurt Chuck, but he'd outhustle him for much of the bout. I don't think Wepner had the power to keep Leon at bay.
