Efe Ajagba is back in the ring November 4th vs Aussie Joe Goodall.
Quick turnaround for Efe coming of that ridiculous DQ win over ZK.
Ajagba and Goodall have history, having faced each other as amateurs with Goodall securing a decision win during the semifinals of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
The fight will take place in Lake Tahoe, NV and will be streamed on ESPN+.
I like the matchup!

Decent fight on paper after the Goodall win over Stephen Shaw but, wow, Shaw was awful in that fight.

I thought Efe landed at least a dozen low blows himself.

Hopefully they have longer term plans for him. He should win this one comfortably but not the worst fight to keep him active.

not bad, some amateur history there and goodall is coming off a good win too. a limited guy but a big strong guy who should try to put it on efe
will add to a good redemption year from efe if he beats joe. meanwhile frank the turd sanchez is fighting scott alexander and danny martz

Yeah that should have been an NC. Efe was going for some kind of high score as I've never seen so many low blows in such a short space of time.
People forget that Zhan was the champion, and got zero protection from the ref. It was an organized mugging facilitated by the US (TR) officials.

absolutely. zhan had close to zero chance leaving that ring as the victor. they would've rimmed him one way or the other.
seemed a 100% percent planned fornicate over, with both efe and the ref in on it. zhan took the 'bait', sure, but after around a dozen low blows from ajagba, ignored by the ref, u really can't blame him.
his only chance was to knock efe out clean, but how in hell is that an even playfield.

The fight is still advertised on French Channels BeIn Sports and RMC for a future broadcast on november 4th. Yeah, for a time there was almost o boxing on french channels, and now, two different Networks are fighting to broadcast the same events (this happened already with the Alimkhanuly - Gualtieri event and will probably happen again in the near future).

Goodal get anything decent off his own? Or just a beating.

Goodall threw about one third of the punches that Efe threw, and the few that landed didn't do any damage.

Even though he is still raw, Ejagba was way too good.
His ridiculously long reach is going to trouble anyone and his repartee is improving. His upper cut was certainly put to good use against Goodall.
I had no problem Weeks' stoppage. Goodall was only seconds away from being on the wrong end of a highlight real knockout and the referee did him a favour.

Goodall's win over the hapless Shaw made this an ok fight on paper. But the ko win for ejagba was entirely expected.
Hopefully next fight will be a big one. I don't see ejagba getting into the top flight but he's certainly exciting.

Can't fault Goodall's effort, landed a lovely right cross in the 2nd, was boxing well start of 3rd but caught nailed with a couple of uppercuts that put Ajagba back in the driving seat, worked his jab well, the straight right, textbook stuff stiffened the legs of Goodall with a right in the 4th and never let him off the hook, stayed measured and hit him clean with both hands, ok stoppage, Goodall was hurt and he wobbled as ref grabbed him

Seen the fight, tough night for goodal. should of taken a knee. legs got shakey and he got pinged.
Goodal was never going to win on points, so if your legs are gone, take a knee.

Tony Weeks would've just stood over him and waved it off
