Most sources seem to have Gatti born in Italy and bought up in Montreal, Canada.

The author, who has done a tremendous amount of research, utilizing both secondary sources and primary sources, including the Gatti family, says Arturo was born in Montreal, Canada. He has Italian ancestry from his parents, but was not born in Italy. That is a myth. His parents moved to Canada in 1964. Arturo was born in 1972.
