Has anyone been to this venue before ?

I've heard some bad reports about the view, any opinions/advice please?

its just an empty warehouse really, no fixed seating, so it depends how they set up the chairs and stuff i guess

I was at the last Hatton fight and the view was abysmal towards the back of the arena, I have virtually no memory of any of the action and I watched pretty much all the fights. Got a much better ticket for Friday though, and I very much doubt there will be 12,000 in there this time anyway.

Is it at the Excel Arena or centre, or are they the same thing. you'd be better knocking a zero off the 12,000 figure for a more accurate crowd estimate.

it's an awful venue. I've never been there for boxing but have been to various trade shows and don't like it.

It's just a warehouse in a very quiet part of the Docklands.

it's a nightmare to get to and an awful venue, stupid choice IMO.

The problem is that is doesn't use banked seating. I was at the Hatton fight and had shelled out a few quid so the view was great, towards the back I imagine it would be dreadful.

So all the seats are on the ground even at the back of the arena?

Cheers Gents!

I'd heard it was poor, don't think I'll bother now.
