Let's imagine that we would've gotten Canelo-Gvozdyk instead of Canelo-Kovalev and Gvozdyk-Beterbiev back in fall of 2019. How that one would've gone?

IMO, Gvozdyk of the Stevenson and Beterbiev fights was more than capable to replicate what Bivol and even an aged Kovalev managed to achieve against Canelo.
Canelo struggled to impress in both of his fights at LHW, where he looked somewhat heavy and was overly reliant on landing single power shots.
A tall, rangy and mobile Gvozdyk would be more than capable of outpointing him with combinations from distance. However, there would always be a chance of losing a controversial decision on cards against Canelo in Vegas. Bivol was almost screwed.
Plus, I kinda feel Gvozdyk had a tendency to lose stamina due to nervous energy. If he'd lose focus, Canelo could get to him in the later rounds.
I wonder what you think, guys?
