i was watching that fight and was hoping the towel would come in at the end there. never an easy call for an unbeaten fighter though. he's tough, that's for sure, and it wasn't fun viewing the last two rounds

Awful news, evidence again what a hard sport it is, in one way it's difficult to understand why someone is willing to get punched in the head for a living, I suppose it's just in us.

I only say this out of concern but I think lessons should be learned from the Nick Blackwell situation. Blackwell was just such a warrior that he couldn't be kept away from the sport despite his injuries.

"As you guys may know, Connor Coghill suffered a bleed on his brain after gruelling 12 rounds with Hopey Price on Oct 7. Unfortunately, this means he can't do anything for 6 months and has to retire as a boxer mean his income will deplete.

His manager Stefy Bull has put together a go fund me to assist with his income and it would be great if the Boxing community could contribute/share as every little helps."
