Got it too. I'm finding it very tough!! I have it on medium difficulty and using the stick for total punch control. I started off as Roy Jones against James Toney and lost every round until I was knocked out in the 7th round.

Then I decided to go to training to see if I could get any better but then had another fight, I was Pacquiao against Morales and I went down in the first and second rounds, and was getting destroyed so I threw the towel in.

How are you finding it in terms of difficulty? I was sh*t hot at FN 04 but these guys are killing me!

apparently the AI is much improved in this one.

the only thing that's making it quite difficult is the counterpunching system, even when u throw a jab, the opponent can parry and make you totally vulnerable for 1 second and you get countered big time...they should really remove that on the regular straight punches...appart from that, in career mode, i really beat the crap out of the IA using the new dynamic punch/block/move control which allows me to throw punches while moving or blocking while moving...my opponent just chases me and eats jabs and counter rights, swells a lot and doesnt see the big punches comiing...but i recon the IA is very good at toe to toe brawling...just keep moving and throwing and you'll win easy

it is much harder but then it shoulsd be otherwise we would ocmplete the game in half hour haivng caned the first one.
what a beatiful looking game though im gonna have to find a way to shut the commentators up.

One flaw I bet is still there, is that straight punches don't really do much damage. You have to land hooks and uppercuts to get knockdowns and knockouts.

What's 'knockout mode.'

God I want an X-box. Sadly my 2 day illness has wiped out my x-box fund, fornicating flu.

I'm pretty much better now J, reckon my immune system must be a little bit more pristene than yours mate. Either that or yours is a pscyhosomatic illness induced by your desire to sit home playing FN2.

NAH MATE,. it only came last night, im on the mend but still feel shit.
yeah could also to do with the fact i work in a air conditioned trading floor and any bugs going around eventually get you.
i was the last to get it mate.
i dont think getintg pissed on sunday helped me out much though, thought i was gonna die on monday.

KO mode is when the it goes all slow mo and your on you relast bit of life b4 getitng sparked basically.

or vice versa

Also had the James Bond DVD boxset delivered with 20 bond film DVD's.

That's going to be a marathon viewing.

I watched all 4 series of the Sopranos on DVD in a couple of weeks, no easy task 52 hours of TV!

Series 6 has been delayed until 2006 it was meant to be on middle of this year. Series 5 is currently showing on E4, it was on C4 last year. Series 5 will be out on DVD in June.

If I were a lesser man you would be drowning beneath a tide of Alan Partridge jokes right now.

Have they improved the career mode any. Do you still just choose which fights you want without any sort of intervention.

It would be much better if they had a kind of 'excitement' mode. If you're fighter is involved in exciting crowd pleasers, then the TV companies should offer you bigger fights earlier in your career.

Not tried career yet I am just getting to grips with it. Much more fluid movement in this one you can practically run round the ring backwards and throw at the same time. Might have to make a Johnny Nelson! ;)
