Being rumoured now for Riyadh, KSA.
With a heavyweight undercard.
One of them being Wilder-Parker.
Thoughts?

If it leads to AJ v Wilder I don’t see how you can moan.
Wilder has been out for a long time so if AJ went in and beat him there would be the ‘Wilder was rusty’ excuses so let’s can that. Also AJ v Wallin and Wilder v Parker isn’t that bad.

I don’t get it?
Isn’t FW promoting the 23rd card?

Wallin on points
AJ will receive the full Ken Dodd treatment.
But if AJ and Wilder both win, they'll have their post match square off and then it's definitely more likely to happen

Not sure how much actual input he'll have. He released a statement on it the other day, how it was going to be a historic night with some amazing boxers...but then it turned out it was actually Eddie Hearn who'd said it all with a FW mask on.

I just can’t see this. Wallin is a tricky opponent though doesn’t punch. But he’s not enough of a name surely….I think Joshua would win a messy tight decision

He’s also southpaw which isn’t ideal prep for a Wilder fight. It does help potentially put AJ in-line for a vacant IBF title shot against Hrgovic if he beats Wallin and the belts fragment.

They call the shots but ego and contractual commitments come into it. AJ has an exclusive deal with DAZN. He also has an exclusive deal with Eddie who’d be ant a piece of the action. Frank will want the show on BT no doubt and whilst it may be the right thing to do exposure wise I can’t see Eddie being happy with it.
Will be interesting to see what happens.

This might actually be his level now, after the Franklin fight.
Sure he did the buisnes against a near 40 year old Helenius, but then so does anyone in the top ten except maybe Parker who still would scrape up a decision.
So Wallin might actually be a good opponent for this version of Joshua.
PPV it isn't, this is a watch later on YouTube for me at least.

If AJ's top of the bill, Eddie's name's got to be on it.

Meaningless - may as well be AJ v Chisora. This needs to be against Wilder or nothing. Just make the fight and shove this 'marinade' bullshine.
