23rd Dec - Joshua/Wallin & Wilder/Parker & Bivol/Rivera

If this comes off, I would be happy with those on one card. Despite not being huge fights individually, collectively they look good.

Parker vs Wilder is the old WBC champ vs WBO champ from the pre-Joshua & Fury takeover.

Joshua vs Wallin is Joshua vs a fringe top 10 guy who is coming off a solid win and also we all know his weird fight with Fury.

Bivol, who just beat Canelo vs Rivera who was robbed against Badou Jack.

Also Bakole and Dubois may be in separate fights on the card. I'd like to see either fight Makhmudov or Anderson, or fight each other.

It makes a certain amount of sense to have Joshua and Wilder on the same card but it makes more sense them fighting each other. Perhaps the intention is for them to both get a fight under their belt and then fight each other but it's been a 6-8 year wait already and still no end in sight.

As for these two potential heavyweight matchups, seen worse, particularly lately.

Thats one hell of a card.

I think Bakole needs to avenge that loss to Hunter. why not now. But Mak truck would be a great other option

DDD should fight wardly for the brittish or Kabayal for the Euro. (2nd option is less apealing but more likely i imagine)

Wallin would be a good opponent choice for the repairing Joshua. He doesn't have the power to trigger the gun shyness recently evident in Joshua and may be a good steppingstone for where he is current at.

Parker was able to evade Ruiz's power for 12 rounds but was unable to do the same against Joyce. If a good version of Wilder turned up I suspect he would KO Parker. But it would be an interesting fight if it happened and if the more aggressive recent version of Parker was to show its face again there could actually be some fireworks.

Ruiz dosent have much power. and i wouldent say parker avoided it, he just took it.

Ruiz has enough power to have sat Joshua on his butt 4 times and stop him.

Parker was very wary of Ruiz's power throughout and fought a clever, calculated fight. Something Joshua would have been wise to watch and emulate in his first fight with Ruiz.

I think ruiz putting AJ down 4 times shows more his lack of power. Got him with a fornicating doozy equilibrium shot, fair play, had him on skates. but didnt have that big shot to put him away afterwards like a real puncher would have.

Ruiz has middle of the road power, much like parker. he isnt feather fisted but he isnt a puncher.

Wouldent say parker was overly wary of ruizs power, or fought particularly clever... he just fought like 90% of fighters would fight vs a shorter guy with fast hands... behind a jab and in spurts. The fact he didnt sit in the pocket for a tear up dosent mean it was wary and clever... just means it wasnt reckless and stupid.

Bivol won't do anything for that card if he's that low on it.
He's not exactly the warm up act type.

Is Rivera the popeye the sailor guy? No way he won Badou Jack and no way he has any chance against Bivol. Shameful shit if this fight happens, Bivol should be out there with the best of them.

You got to remember Bivol's style isn't what the fans want to look at.
He's not aggressive enough.
Good boxer though.

Many had Rivera winning. Some even had him winning fairly wide. The official scorecards for Jack only had a round between them.

I just checked and I had it 96-94 so not as wide as I recalled.

Oh good, I was worried for a second that there might be a good match-up somewhere on the card.

Insane how much more money it would make if it was located in England and the line-up was:
Joshua - Wilder
Dubois - Bakole
Wallin - Parker

It is a good card no question.
However, just saw Eddie Hearn interviewed and he says they're still talking.
It kind of makes sense they'll do something as they had Fury v Usyk penciled for December 23rd until he got marked up against Ngannou.
Let's hope something comes of it.

I’m not going to get my hopes up till it’s all locked but I really like this card. I get people wanting aj vs wilder, but fuk otto aj is fine and wilder Parker is great.

If it happens Be happy with what is not sad about what could be… when there are belts I get angry about lack of unifications, but when there’s no belts if a contender is fighting a contender I’m all about it.

Still needs to have decent matchups on the undercard. Quick ko`s of tomato's will be bad. Both the two mains have the potential for either early ko`s or dull points.

Great card if it happens. Doubtful Wilder will be involved tbh, Parker is a risky fight for him and if he loses, surely the Joshua fight is dead.

If true, this is becoming a crazy good card.
There is not one "great" fight but many solid/good fights. This is going in the right direction.

If this is how future cards look like when held in Saudi, I'm all in for that.
