18th November 2023 for the British Middleweight title. Who do people have?

Heaney has been brought along well but will need to up his game considerably to beat Bentley.

After Bentley's surprisingly good showing against Janibek Alimkhanuly, it seems he will have too much of everything for Heaney.

I'm guessing Heaney's sold a shed load of tickets for the biggest night of his life.

Bentley for me , much better resume .
Having said that we really don't know how good Heaney is .

Bentley is levels above and will win brutally. Heaney is another Damon Hague

If Bentley wins, I hope he gets the Signani Denny winner. Same goes for Heaney. Genuinely good fight. I think Heaney will give it a good go and he's always match fit. For me Bentley has the better power

I had no clue Nate was this good, I just thought with the Delilah schtick and matchmaking he was just a novelty act

Looking at his record he has taken part in 9 ten round fights.

While they were fights he was supposed to win, a good few were against winning fighters, in the end he was prepared well for a 12 round fight.

What a turn up for the books

Bentley more than met his match in supposed fringe British title contender Heaney.

Put simply, Heaney was magnificent

Clearly not a natural, Heaney has obviously dedicated himself to boxing and has been prepared to listen & learn to maximise his success.

Heaney was hyper focused throughout the 12 rounds and his conditioning was tremendous

Bentley had an awful expression on his face as the fight wore on as if to say "I've got this one horribly wrong"

By no means a stylist or smooth, Heaney performed fantastically well in forcing out the punches & moves he has learnt in the gym & his 17 fight pro career. His confidence was off the charts and really infectious.

I thought Nathan was marvelous about half through the 8th round when Denzil clattered him with a couple of shots and it seemed it might all quickly come to an end...but Heaney fired back immediately and braced himself to withstand any further punches. Before you knew it Nathan was bossing the exchanges again

It was a night when it all came right for Heaney, who appeared to revelling in his challenge, and wonderful to see someone do the absolute antithesis of freezing on their big occasion. Heaney lapped it up !

How Bentley and his team thought they had done enough to retain the title is beyond me and the Lonsdale belt rightly changed hands.

The wild celebrations that followed from Heaney & his incredible supporters were fully justified and terrific to see

With a sensational fan base that Heaney has built up, why not a 1st British title defence at Stoke's football ground or next largest venue.

I said in an earlier post that Nathan would have to really up his game to stand a chance of winning, and boy did he do that...and then some

Heaney v Brad Paul's would be a really cool fight i think. I would go and watch that if that was made. Hard not to like both blokes and I think that could be a thriller.
