Johansson v Cavicchi

Ingemar Johansson took the European heavyweight title from Franco Cavicchi in Bologna on 30 September 1956
It was recorded as a KO in the 12th round
The only film of the fight I can find shows both fighters mid ring then Cavicchi goes down and is counted out.
Some reports say a short right hand did the damage, some suggests a body shot and some suggest a combination of both.
From the images Cavicchi didn't look particularly hurt and he was known to be a 'moody' fighter
I can't find a copy of the Boxing News covering the fight, although I don't think they would have had a reporter there .
Can anyone help please?

According to Johanssons book it was a right hand to the body.

thanks for responding.
Yes ingemar said that in his book, but other reports said something different.
My problem is that at the time of the stoppage it was reckoned Cavicchi was ahead, but he seemed to collapse easily

Funnily enough, Maria, is around. I contacted her by phone only 2 weeks ago, and she gave me her email address so I could expand on why I was contacting her. Silence ever since!!

What do you think about continuing to send her a new email? Can you share with me her email address?
