reece bellotti under radar resurgence

bellotti had 5 losses in his last 7 fights at 126, but seemingly like old opponent jord gill has breathed some new life into his career since moving to 130 . three straight wins, picking up commonwealth and area titles, and last time out stopped previously unbeaten aqib fiaz. he also beat youssef khoumari, who drew with current british champ liam dillon
could he beat, say, archie 'the stagnation' sharp? what about dillon? any thoughts on who he should fight next

Warren was very high on Archie Sharp. What happened with him?

Been very much matched against the usual suspects defending his WBO trinket.
Booked in for an 8 rounder next week. Not moving forward. Guess FW doesn't have a lot of confidence in him and is waiting for a vacant belt.
It's not a FW show, is he getting put on as a favour or has he left FW?
Seems he is with Probellum now, missed that!
Seemed better off with FW

Belotti has been matched well of late and let’s be honest was thrown in as a sacrificial lamb against Ray Ford so wasn’t matched the best when he was on his losing run.
I always felt like someone with Belotti’s style would be the undoing of Aqib Fiaz and thankfully the bookies didn’t think so.

Yes and no!
They don't get paid much in Spain, so the few quid would def be very tempting.
That's why Kilo Martinez was a regular visitor.
But they know all about British judging so they will try and get as much as possible

Outstanding performance by the lad tonight, being much of the time a step before Dillon and landing cleaner shots

Per the EBU, he's in negotiations with Archie Sharp, who might be the mandatory iirc.
That's been the case for ages though so not sure how likely that fight is to come to fruition.

Wouldn't mind Sharp getting a few good wins and pushing on

I thought Belotti jabbed a lot better and went to the body inside much better and that got him over the line. Dillon would land good flurrys but when he was having his time off he would ship 4-5-6 jabs and that just ruined the momentum of the round for him.

Love to see Bellotti get a crack at the European, not all their champs are euro level, don't know anything about the current super feather titlist but get him for Bellotti

Dillon should return after a well earned rest to recuperate. I had to feel for him at the end of the fight when the decision was being announced. He left everything in the ring, but walked away without his British title
At the same time you have to be dead chuffed for Bellotti. I really admire these boxers that don't drift away from the sport after a few losses and knuckle down to achieving their dreams
I'd be happy for Reece to defend the British title or chase an EBU shot. He's earned his titles and deserves more success.

Exactly. In some of the recent fights he was in I just found myself saying, he's battle tested at the level. The opponents could be a level above but they need to be because they will get found out and that's whats happening.

Just had chance to catch his fight from the weekend, cracking tear up & pleased for Bellotti, Dillon is one tough cookie mind! He got drilled with a serious amount of hard uppercuts in particular but just kept coming, good competitive contest.

bellotti wins again, succesully defending his british and commonwealth titles vs levi giles. from losing 5 of his last 7 at 126, to now 5 straight wins and area/commonwealth/british titles at 130. maybe not quite the banger at 130, but his boxing looks tighter and he's ultra fit
get him a euro shot vs this guy
