Adamek was experiencing weight-cut problems at 175 (looked sunk against Dawson).
2004 version of Johnson could win by late stoppage of a fan-friendly fight.

I think this would've been a really great and competitive fight. I feel like Johnson's toughness would win out. Johnson may have a slight edge in conditioning too, and may be able to push a pace that Adamek would struggle with.

johnson had basically one good year where he could be counted on to beat top fighters. the rest of his career it could be a crapshoot with glen. he always acted like he was robbed, but the reality is a lot of these were legit close decisions going against him, and these werent always the top end guys beating or drawing with him either
at their very best 175 versions though, glen would probably get to adamek. adamek wasnt as strong at lhw as he was at cruiser. glen had the tenacity to exploit that.

True. But Glen really had a case for a win in a lot of his decision losses. glen could be knocked cold in the first round, and the first thing he'd say upon waking up was that he was robbed
