Yesterday our dear forum member Scrap died after and long illness. He used to write extensively on training forum.
His name was Howard Rainey and he was one of Brittains finest boxing coaches.
2015 i went to him in Sheffield for a few days so he can teach me a thing or two about boxing. It was a wonderful experience.

He was a true boxing scholar, gentleman and a wonderful person. Rest in peace my old friend

RIP, was the main character in the book 'Looking for a Fight' which was an excellent read where Howard took a man who never boxed before to his first professional fight, he came across as a unique character in the world of boxing with a very broad range of interests and views on what it took to be successful in boxing. I am sorry for his family's loss.
