Gerry Cooney vs Scott LeDoux, 1980

In 1980, when Cooney surfaced as a top ten fighter and a hot prospect, a prominent boxing scribe (from the New York Daily News, I think) said he should be "tested" by LeDoux.
The tone of the article was that LeDoux, an experienced heavyweight with a proven rep for toughness, could give Gerry a run for his money. Supposedly Cooney needed one such final test before moving on to challenge the division's top dogs.
How would this fight have turned out, according to you guys?
I say Cooney KO's LeDoux within one or two rounds. Easily. That's because Scott was a flat-footed fighter, a stationary target for Gerry's devastating left-hook.
