The great Dane has passed away at the age of 79. Bogs challenged Carlos Monzon for the world middleweight title and had John Conteh on the deck in a European title encounter at light-heavy. His litany of British victims include Chris Finnegan, Bunny Sterling, Harry Scott, Les McAteer and Wally Swift.
