I understand that Khan was given some award for services to amateur boxing at the ABA finals on Friday night.
It's reported that he got a 'mixed reception' from the crowd.
The tide is already turning...

Not suprised. He already thinks hes too good to fight in the ABA's.
I think he needs to settle down a bit, avoid being in the press. And whatever happens, dont be tempted by allegedly's wallet

I think if AK had no influence from his father and manager, he would have fought.

It certainly does appear so, which is a great shame. Just on this web-site alone leading up to the Olympics and during the tournament itself this place was awash with excitement and positive threads about Amir.
But over the last 4 months it has been a PR disaster for the Boxing sensation. Not attending the ABA's because of a row over tickets amongst other things that give the impression that Team Khan appear to think that they are bigger than the sport.
Khan was, and hopefully can be again be a wonderfull advert for either code of the sport.
What Team Khan need to remember is that in life it is very difficult to get a good reputaion but much easier to get a bad one.
