Amazing. If you asked an AI to pick the "most Anthony Yarde opponent ever" it would come up with this guy.
There seemed a brief period of almost self-awareness post-Beterbiev when he and Tunde both seemed to suggest he hadn't got sufficient experience at the right level to win such fights, but that seems to have fucked off already.

Yep, ticks all the boxes
Going down the tried & tested route of an unknown opponent with an impressive looking record. This Serbian guy barely has a recognisable win on his slate
Yarde's career has more than a touch of deep fake about it.

Without looking I’m guessing….
Pretty record
No credible wins
If he’s lost then it’s every time he’s stepped up
Previously fought at super-middle
Most of us will have never heard of him
I get the impression it’s Tunde who’s risk averse in all of this.

Tunde blocked me on FB when there was a discussion on a boxing page pre Kovalev that he would be better off fighting the domestic belts before moving up as the lack of preparation would bite him. That's a poor fight

Yarde either fights a 1-2 out of 10 opponent or a 9-10 opponent no Inbetween

Yeah I’ve always maintained the reason he struggles when he steps up is hardly fighting any genuine light heavyweights.
