Could Dereck Chisora have won the title, had he faced the mid-2000 version of Ruiz?

I could see Chisora winning that one. He had the physical strength to possibly get the better of the wrestling with Ruiz which is important.

Ruiz was a world class spolier and round pincher......he mugged off better men......but Chisora would not be remotely bothered by getting hit by Ruiz and would be rough and very busy up close. And he would not need to find Ruiz either.

I will go for Chisora winning an ugly one and with points deductions for both men. Ruiz getting a DQ not off the cards either and I think Chisora would test the ref's patience too.

By and large where Chisora got exposed was against very tall guys with a decent jab or top class boys who could move. Fury had him worked out three times-over, but to be frank Ruiz is a league behind Fury and Tyson would humiliate Ruiz badly.
