Let's take their versions from the nights they made the 1st defense of their titles - Taylor from the 2nd Hopkins fight and Martinez from the 2nd Williams fight.

Who wins?

I'd probably favor Martinez, but it'd be a good and close fight. Taylor had a very good jab, and was rangy, but Martinez would have the edge in close with his handspeed, and he's lighter on his feet.

I feel like Martinez's overall game is better by a wide enough margin that he'd begin to pull away as the fight went on, but I suspect it'd be about even after the first half.
