When Ngannou appeared on the scene I
Joined the queue of people who said some of the following ref his fight with Tyson Fury …
Joke fight
Mismatch
1 fight novice gets ko’d
The fight is bringing boxing into disrepute
And the after fight the following was said:
How bad was Tyson Fury
There is no way Ngannou can improve enough to best AJ
Are all those involved in boxing far too arrogant for their own good
Are we still not giving Ngannou enough credit?

I once received working tax credits and student finance at the same time for almost a year. Was never caught.

To be fair, on paper it was a complete mismatch, a 0 fights novice versus arguably the best heavyweight in the world.
My view is Fury didn’t train properly and is maybe on the way down anyway, alongside this Ngannou is clearly as tough as nails and had enough skill learned from his MMA days to actually not be as much of a novice as we all thought he was.
I don’t think it was arrogance as much as all the signs pointed to Fury being a resounding favourite.
