Parkers nose looked broken. I imagine thats about 6 months off (get it fixed, healed and then start sparring again)... how long till that WBO interim becomes a real belt? im guessing may this year it gets upgraded strait after undisputed... I know IBF is next... but the interim WBO is now 18 months old and has been in 4 world class fights, gotta get promoted soon.

Dont know what the zhang vs parker 2 purses will look like and if there will be a way to get zhang to not take it (last chance at a belt really is down the WBO/interim WBO path...

If it has to happen, I hope parker gets upgraded to a real belt and takes the fight to eden park in NZ, or the birdsnest in bejing if he is feeling like an absolutely insanly brave unit....

I was impressed I didn't see Zhang's shoulder behind the first knockdown. Nor Parker!

It's like his additional fat hides the muscle twitches we associate with hard-punching heavies, so while his shots aren't the quickest they're very fluid, and that makes it hard to read how much they have on them given his massive weight.

Totally agree with the thoughts on them facing others next. Zhang-Wilder sounds all kinds of fun. Parker-Dubois feels right.

Zhang vs Wilder for the ultimate big bang. They are made for each other.

Parker would probably be even more tentative if he rematched Zhang, the guy can seemingly drop Parker by connecting. Not keen for that.

(Fake Zhang recently stopped Romanov, who has a stoppage win over Wilder in the amas).

Could have gone either way.
Judges would have likely responded to Zhangs power of single shots or the meaningless flurries Parker threw of which some landed.

Zhang can be lazy, he needs to step it up a bit.

Parker has beaten top genuine top 10 guys since November. Joshua hasn’t beaten a legitimate top 10 guy in god knows how long. Probably Pulev. So why not Parker vs Usyk next (no matter how Usyk does vs Fury)

No point in it, like in Zhang vs Joyce 2.

Zhang may be the best in the division...... for a couple of rounds. After 4-5 rounds he can only throw about 10 punches a round.

zang could maybe lose a few pounds and gain some cardio ...

Zhang is a danger if you stand in front of him, Parker done good. He’s looking in good shape these days

The issue with joyce is his head takes 2-3 business days to move off the center line... normly he just eats bombs and powers on, but zhangs bombs are different...

One was enough, Joseph was down twice but Zhang's lack of aggression costed him like against Hrgovic, Parker has been determined since Joyce to retake his spot

He managed to employ pretty much the same game plan as his Wilder fight. Zhang being able to seemingly drop Parker at will shows how hard he hits. I haven't seen Parker sat flat on his arse like that without a decent peppering first.
