Tyson Fury came to fight MMA fighter Ngannou in terrible physical condition. His spare tire was even more apparent and his body was softer (lacking muscle) even than in previous fights. He looked like a 50 year old alcoholic. He actually lost the fight to a boxing novice, although the judges bailed him out.

His weakness made the sport of boxing look terrible.

But Anthony Joshua did what top heavyweights are supposed to do, and redeemed the sport of boxing.

True, if only the AJ/Ngannou fight had happened first.

But Francis made life changing money from those 2 bouts which was the main thing for him. Hopefully he doesn’t box professionally again and sticks to MMA.

I was a bit p!ssed last night but sort of remember Fury's face appeared blemish free. What the f*ck happened to that cut? I had a similar one years back and took an age to heal.

Fury definitely did AJ a favor though by making Ngannou a credible name.

If AJ had done had fought Ngannou first, this would've been seen as just "Of course he smashed him. What'd you think was gonna happen?"

But because Ngannou had already put up a good fight against Fury. Now Joshua's smashing him with ease means something.

Tyson Fury increased Ngannou's stock.

Joshua prepared properly and did to Ngannou what any world class HW should do to him.

Hopefully we've seen the back of Ngannou, unless the WBC have pushed him up their rankings, because every time he loses, he moves up seemingly.

It was almost certainly faked. The fat pudendum wasn’t in any shape to fight Usyk so they cooked up the cut to get out of it. Standard pikey dishonesty, no doubt they’re very proud of it behind closed doors. It’s what they do.

Fury was either out of shape or declined. The Usyk fight shows.

Bit by bit the Tyson Fury hype/myth gets exposed.

More people are seeing that the whole Tyson Fury hype/myth that he is some slick big punching ATG heavyweight is as fake as his dyed beard.

Since being caught using PEDs he has disgraced boxing. Thankfully it's all falling apart for him ... His lies and excuses are quickly seen through, and his best names on his record are seen for what they are rather than what he made them out to be.

Sooner the Fury's are gone the better.

- AJ in consecutive fights against two heavies seen as embarrassing Flubber if not out beat the porker has shamed him beyond redemption now.

After Usyk shames him further, that’s it for him, but Flubber has to show at the scratch line, something he’s already failed at several times.

I asked about the odds he’d he’d back out then, so what are they now? Could be his MTK buds make more on that outcome than a fight he’s bound to lose…yeah!!!

This is a boxing forum and on Friday night AJ, representing boxing in a boxing match, brutally KO'd an MMA guy that some thought beat Fury. AJ restored the pride back to HW boxing after Fury's flabby, sloppy performance. Yet here you are crying like a little girl who got turned down by the boy she fancies because AJ played you at a presser.

Well you better be facetious, then.

In all seriousness, I expect his ranking to tank after this loss. This is coming from someone (me) who has conjectured that a close decision with Fury justifies a good ranking. This is one of Joshua's most dominant wins, so it figures that Ngannou would now take a bigger drop down the rankings than Joshua's past opponents like Breazeale, Takam, Franklin, Helenius, etc. About as bad as his wins over Martin and Molina; so Ngannou goes down there with them.
