Who wins this fight of swarmer against boxer? At his very best, I will pick Ken Buchanan by split decision.

I think I'll have to go with "Pryor", by a decision, in this bout. It's probably much to do with they're specific styles and attributes.

The styles contrast and correlate to make for a relatively interesting, entertaining, and sometimes fiercely fought bout.

Likely, Ultimately, this is basically an 8-6-1 type of decision Win for "Pryor".

He'd Swarm continuously throughout this bout. He'd get hit a fair amount but Ken wasn't much in the punching power category. He'd have his moments versus the 5'6 "Aaron Pryor", but the strength, and tenacity would be just too much I think.
A game effort by The Scotsman, trying to hold off The Bulling Power and Tenacity of The Cincinati Hawk, who simply imposes the indomitable Spirit, well enough to earn a decisive decision victory.

At his very best, I think that Ken Buchanan would have exposed Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor.

Buchanan by unanimous decision in a war.

This would be a great fight.
Often think people don’t realise how good Buchanan was at his best.

Could go either way but lean to Buchanan on points.

Pryor by decision-not a rout but a clear decision.

A lot of people forgot how good Ken Buchanan was. Although a good boxer with a flicking fast jab, he was tough as nails and had a tremendous chin. He could fight well inside for a guy of his height. He was 5'9", but he is listed as 5'71/2". I think that that's wrong information.

Roberto Duran is 5'7". And in his fight with Buchanan, Buchanan seemed taller than Duran for about 2 inches.

Prime Pryor was so busy, relentless and at times unorthodox I can see him outworking Buchanan. I know others might disagree but I didn’t think the Duran-Buchanan fight was that close and Pryor would be winging punches throughout and IMO take it
