Ive never been away, but weirdly retirement has seen me get less time to come on here, I was always on here when i was an NHS manager, with the NHS paying for my time....

nowadays.....i have a garden, pool, fishing kit, mountains and a girlfriend to maintain. its time consuming.

I live in my villa in Northern Cyprus in a village called Kucukerenkoy. the sea is 400 metres away. I lure fish off the rocks (Mineri, Mediterranean barracuda, Big garfish), i also have a little inflatable boat that i go slow jigging off (Grouper, Lizard fish, Silver cheeked puffer fish, Mineri)and Ive also been known to catch some albacore tuna whilst trolling off the boat (about 13kg). There are some dams up the north but just contain Carp.

In the south of the island are dams with Carp, Catfish (with tails, not the wells type), Largemouth bass, Zander, Rainbow trout and Tilapia.

Shame boxing is bent cos it’s a beautiful sport to watch in itself.

Would love to say, you lucky bugger but you've obviously got yourself in that lovely position to be able to that .
I've fished all over too , had some lovely carp from the St Lawrence in The US .
Mainly fish matches in the UK now tho .

Think the forum has been about perhaps a couple more years more than that. Steve689 was around before the “east side” invasion. I think it was 1999 I first posted on boxingranks and pretty sure boxrec forum started not long after that
