Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, and Bowe's minds are all mess up

I would like to say something about the four best world heavyweight champions from the 1990s that they lost their head.
Riddick Bowe- He's chicken to fight Lennox Lewis, because he lost to Lewis in the 88 Olympic games for the gold medal match.
Lennox Lewis- He's too arrogant and a chicken like Bowe, because he retired a quitter as the champion, and he ducks Vitali Klitschko for the rematch like Bowe ducks Lewis before.
Evander Holyfield- He still wants to retire as the champion, but he lost 3 straight fights so far, which I lose respect for him, because too many fighters nailing him many shots in his head which made Holyfield a fool of himself. Like Mr. T would say in his famous lines even in Rocky III, " I pity a fool that Holyfield will retire a loser in the end."
Mike Tyson- He said he was the stupidiest person which he is right now, but if the late Cus D'Amato didn't die, and if Cus was 20 years younger, he would make Tyson out of trouble, and make him (Tyson) the greater champion than Tyson will be right now.

Strongly disagree. Lewis retired on a win even if a slightly inconlusive one. Lewis has had a long career and accomplished everything there was to within reason both as an amateur and a professional and has
NOTHING left to prove.
He retired at the top, something I wish more fighter would do instead of fighting on long past their primes and damaging their reputations and even worse health.
Why do people want to see a ring rusty, faded 40 year old fighter like Lewis come out of retirment to fight a dangerous opponent like Virali? It would prove nothing if he lost. If Lewis came back and KO'd Vitali the same people would just say
"Why doesn't Chicken Lewis fight Peters, Ruiz, Toney or Tyson again etc etc?".
There is
always another challange out there, Lewis did the right think by retiring as the Champ.
Bowe avioding Lewis was completely different as they were both young fighters at the time, you cannot compare the two situations.

If Lewis thought he had nothing left to prove, why did he elect to fight an even more washed up Tyson? Why did he retire when he did? Fear.

I imagine the huge payday was one reason he fought Tyson.

The payday for a Vitali rematch was higher.

He still had not faced Tyson when he did so. He has fought Vitali Klitschko and won, there no need for him to come out of retirement.

Lewis retires rather having a rematch with Klischko, because he's too arrogant.

That's a tough one. I'm not quite so sure if Cus was still around today things would have been that different for Tyson.
Even when Tyson was under the protect of Cus, Jacobs and Clayton Tyson had a long history of breaking training to go out partying and chasing women. There has also at this time been many stories of women being 'paid off' to drop various assault charges against the young Tyson.
There was also the famous instant when Tysons first trainer Teddy Atlas put a gun to Tysons head for making 'advances' towards an underage girl.
Atlas was soon asked to pack his bags. Many have said that there was one rule for Tyson and one rule for the other fighters at the Catskills.
Tyson was one very close to Kevin Rooney, but Tyson is no longer talking to him. Maybe if Cus was around they would have gone their seperate ways to?
Tyson may just be the classic case of
'You can take the boy out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the boy'
It's quite romantic and understanble to think that if Cus was still around that Tyson would have accomplished much more in and out of the ring but I'm not quite so sure. Tyson is a grown man and makes his own choices in life.

.
Mate, Lennox is 40 yrs old. He has nothing left to prove. Vitali Klitschko has everything still to prove.
I cant wait to see how Vitali Klitschko copes against the #1 contender in the world when hes 39 yrs old. Then we'll really see which heavyweight hadthe longest staying power at the top.

I know that he'll be 40 years old on Sept. 2 and he have nothing to prove, but I don't like him when he talks something b.s about Tyson and Holyfield before fighting them, and after fighting them. I got an idea if they have a time machine Lennox Lewis should go back in time and challenge Sonny Liston the orginial baddest man on the planet

Even if you believe he retired a chicken, I wouldn't say he was messed up. He's not like Tyson, he doesn't go jumping on peoples cars or saying he wants to eat babies, does he?

I don't believe D'Amato having lived would have made an iota of difference. Tyson was a manchild when Cus was alive and sooner or later he would have gone on to do the things he did. As it was D'Amato was giving Tyson considerations which he never gave to his other fighters

I concur.
