Seen him fight live and he seems a clever boxer, but he's been inactive for years now. Still only 28. Anyone know why and what's up there? Any news on the future?

high ranked with wbo without any real win of note. Never boxed for English commonwealth or British titles even tho he was mandated. Boxed alot of imports for wbo trinket titles. Should have boxed cacace and barrett why they were all under the same promoter

Think he left FW, hasn't found a new promoter, or is waiting out his contract.
I imagine he has lost is WBO Global European in the provess

Wouldn't mind seeing him fighting for domestic honours. Watched him fight a Latvian in 2019. He wasn't bad. I think he needs challenges

A wasted talent. A good boxer who can also pull out the odd explosive punch now & again.
Should be on the cusp of world class by now but has missed out on the transitional fights that prepare you for becoming a world title contender.

He left Frank to join MTK/Probellum and that went sideways. As far as I know he’s with the promotional company that replaced Probellum (I forget their name) but he’s ruined his career leaving Frank.
Frank worked magic undeservedly getting him so high in the rankings with the WBO.

Coco, the fearsome and strangely-named Jackson Jon England (
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/797511) won that prestigious title only yesterday, so you must have sense that coming when you posted. Archie will have to save up the tokens from his cornflakes packets and send off for some other similar title.
On a more serious note, his career trajectory reminds me a bit of George Jupp - he may end up going straight from Area level, via a regional sanctioning body trinket, straight into a world title fight.
PS - I love the geographical contradiction inherent in "Global European". More of these kinds of names, please, sanctioning bodies.
