Dazn

I've had an email saying Dazn is going up to £15 a month.
What do you currently pay Sean?
Same, getting a bit steep on all the subs now.
Says yearly cost is now almost £165maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:15What’s this from? £10 a month?
I pay the annual amount of £99 and haven’t had anything. To be fair it’s good value at that price.
That’s if you pay monthly though (1 month free and 11 x £15).Controversial wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:29Says yearly cost is now almost £165maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:15What’s this from? £10 a month?

That was always just an intro price.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:47 I'm feeling old now. In my day it were 2 quid a month....
Yeah gone up from £10 a month
It says 12 month contract, if you want a monthly contract it’s £24.99maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:01That’s if you pay monthly though (1 month free and 11 x £15).Controversial wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:29Says yearly cost is now almost £165maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:15

I can’t see anything on the annual payment.
It’s crazy to increase the monthly amount though from £10 a month to £15 when the content remains the same (unless I’ve missed something).
I'm just jesting I knew it would go up.maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:06That was always just an intro price.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:47 I'm feeling old now. In my day it were 2 quid a month....

I fully understand people being pissed off by the price rise today. I never really understood why people were so annoyed when it went up from £2 as that was clearly never sustainable.
Yeah - it previously was £10 a month in a 12 month contract or £99 upfront. That monthly option has gone up to £15 whilst the rolling option has gone from £20 to £25.Controversial wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:20It says 12 month contract, if you want a monthly contract it’s £24.99maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:01That’s if you pay monthly though (1 month free and 11 x £15).Controversial wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:29

Yeah - I wasn’t aiming that at you. I just saw a load of people say they’d never sub to DAZN again after they increased the price from £1.99 a month.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:43I'm just jesting I knew it would go up.maverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 07:06That was always just an intro price.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 06:47 I'm feeling old now. Where does it say that or is that for existing customers only as I went onto DAZN and tried to sign up and I was only offered a rolling monthly deal (£24.99)or a 12 month contract (£14.99), there is no annual option?
It's there for existing annual subscribers (who received an email) - doesnt seem to be available for new subscribers!Controversial wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 08:25Where does it say that or is that for existing customers only as I went onto DAZN and tried to sign up and I was only offered a rolling monthly deal (£24.99)or a 12 month contract (£14.99), there is no annual option?
Gotcha mate. I'll still pay it as it goes up I'll just grumble to myself and do nothing #warriormaverick23 wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 08:16Yeah - I wasn’t aiming that at you.
